206 Army Cadet Unit was formerly the North Sydney Boys High School Cadet unit, established in 1917. The unit has a rich history and
maintains its heritage and traditions to this day.
Tuesday Parade Nights
Cadet training occurs on Tuesday nights of the school term. We're taught a myriad of subjects, ranging from military drill to first aid.
We're taught by our dedicated cadet command team, comprising of cadet NCOs, who have attained rank, as well as our hardworking Officers.
New recruits
New recruits who join our unit are trained in a way which will prepare them for the rest of their lives. They gain essential
communication and teamwork skills, build up their knowledge, and try new things, all while having great fun!
Weekend Bivouacs
We conduct field aspects of cadet training out in the bush, where it should be! Even though it may be hard work, the real satisfaction
comes from realising what you've achieved throughout the course of the biv.
