Parading in Ceremonial Events
One main event for 206 ACU is the annual end-of-year ceremonial parade. Other ceremonial events include graduation parades of promotion courses, or events such as visits by dignitaries and representing the AAC in special functions. Cadets wear ceremonial polyester uniforms on such occasions.
As Australian Army Cadets, 206 ACU members are frequently called upon to represent the Australian Defence Force in ceremonial engagements, such as honour guards and catafalque parties on ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and historic events, such as the presentation of the new Duke of Edinburgh's Banner in 2005.
