AFX?
The NSW Annual Field Exercise is a field training campof huge proportions. It's a statewide camp, where army cadets from all regions of NSW
converge on the Singleton Army Training Area for a week of fun in the bush. Cadets get to work together on exercises encompassing team-building,
navigation, patrolling and military skills.
206 ACU @ AFX
On AFX 2008, 206 ACU members divided into mixed platoons of cadets from our parent battalion, 22 AAC BN. It's a great way of meeting people,
members of the same organisation, who you normally wouldn't get to work with.
AFX is one event of the year where our cadet NCOs can show off their leadership ability, commanding a section, platoon, company, and even
whole battalion, of cadets - the Battalion Commanders for the last two years have both been Cadet Under Officers from this unit!
For certain.
